First Health Part D Value Plus (PDP)

Offers value and wellness options focusing not only on covering the medications you need now, but also on helping you prepare for a healthier future:

  • Low monthly plan premiums, low copays and low coinsurance
  • No deductible - you get first-dollar coverage
  • $3 copays for preferred generic drugs at our preferred pharmacies* including Walgreens**, Walmart, Target and the Kroger Family of Pharmacies
  • Select no-cost vitamins and supplements at our preferred pharmacies***

*Other pharmacies are available in our network.

** For the Value Plus plan, Walgreens is not a preferred pharmacy in Massachusetts.

***The products and services described above (vitamins and supplements) are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the First Health Part D grievance process.

First Health Part D Essentials is designed for individuals looking for a Medicare Part D plan with low copays and low monthly plan premiums, and:

  • Low, fixed cost for preferred generics
  • Extra savings at our preferred pharmacies*, such as Walmart
  • Convenient 90-day supply of medications mailed right to your home

You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.

Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-Star rating system. Star Ratings are calculated each year and may change from one year to the next.

Cost sharing for members who get “Extra Help” is the same at preferred and network pharmacies.
