Additional Help for Those That Need It the Most
You may be one of the many Medicare beneficiaries who will qualify for reduced premiums and substantial reductions in your out-of-pocket cost of obtaining prescription drugs. This additional support is available if you meet certain income and asset requirements. The Social Security Administration will review assets such as your savings accounts, stocks, and bonds and other assets that can be readily turned to cash within a 30-day time period. This review will not include the value of your home, car or personal jewelry.
